antoni: always surprised when someone compliments you, hesitant when it comes to bold prints, greek yogurt’s #1 fan, closet bookworm, terrifyingly witty, cries quietly
bobby: loves a good sectional, can only see shades of navy and gray, can’t say no to a floral bermuda short, always wonders if you’re ready to see more, all about functionality
jonathan: hates sulfates, always lifting others up, the horniest of the group, not afraid to show affection and/or demand attention, a true hoe for DIY face masks, gives absolutely zero fucks about what others think
karamo: the Dad of the Group, softly demands that everyone have their shit together, believes there’s no such thing as too many bomber jackets, constantly reinventing yourself just because you can
tan: emotionally unavailable, fucking loves a french tuck, wants you to be you but elevated, rolls sleeves when lacking confidence, always ready for sex, please don’t touch my hair
i help women meet their WANTED pregnancies every day.
in the last year, i’ve held a woman’s hand as she delivered the child she desperately wanted but who was never going to take a breath outside the womb, so she decided to do the merciful thing and stop the suffering
i’ve handed a baby to a woman who lost her last one at 35 weeks, for reasons we’ll never know
i’ve taken out the uterus of a woman who wanted more children, so that she wouldn’t bleed to death during the delivery of her child
and i’ve stood by a woman’s side while she lost her own life because of a pregnancy complication that was completely unavoidable
pregnancy is dangerous. things can turn at any instant.
so don’t you ever come at a woman and say she needs to carry a child to term. women die from pregnancy far FAR more often than they die from safe and legal abortions
asking a woman to give her life for a wanted pregnancy is horrible enough
asking her to give her life for an unwanted pregnancy is so much worse.
I know we’re all pretty used to it by now, but I fear us ever underappreciating that the Transformers is literally the one franchise with not just a gay couple, but several gay couples; not just one trans character, but several that are also in devoted, healthy, and loving relationships; that Transformers has not just one lesbian couple, but several, and it is probably the only franchise to even come close to claiming this.
It is not a factor to be considered that it is about giant alien robots and not humans, but it is to be marveled that a story about giant alien robots is the most lgbtq+ diverse fiction in existence. And we should never underappreciated that fact and our love for it.
